When is a Literalist Not a Literalist?

‘Mid-Acts-hyper-dispensationalists’ claim to be ‘literal’ in their reading of the Bible.

Does God possess the cattle on ONLY 1,000 hills ....
or does ‘a thousand’ represent all the hills?

Psa 50:10 For every beast of the forest is mine,
and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

Does God command His word to ONLY 1,000 generations ....
or does ‘a thousand’ represent all the generations?

Deut 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

1 Chron 16:15 Be ye mindful always of his covenant;
the word which he commanded to a thousand generations;

When is a literalist not a literalist?

This is David Dowell, saying, "Think about it!"
