What Sound Does a Trump Make?

Ask a simple question .... get a simple answer!
Not so, from ‘mid-Acts-ers’ who wrest the scriptures!

No one would naturally answer that a trump sounds like a voice shouting .... unless they have an agenda, or a paradigm, or a chart to follow. A shout is a holler or a yell .... not a trumpet sound! We all know what sound that musical instrument makes, so let’s not twist it into something it’s not, like, just a noise.

‘Mid-Acts-ers’ change the sound of the trump into a shout because they do not want to accept the only future series of trumpets in the scriptures in Revelation 8:2-9:20, 10:7, 11:15, which they classify to be ‘in a different PROGRAM’ (which they call ‘the PROPHECY program’) than ‘the MYSTERY program’ they think they are in .... when they have NO VERSE to create EITHER ‘PROGRAM’ -- even though at the 7th angel's sound the mystery of God will conclude:

Rev 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

'Mid-Acts-ers' say that a shout = a voice = a trump .... that they are all the same sound. The basis for their switch in meaning for ‘the trump of God’ in 1 Thess 4:16, and ‘the last trump’ in 1 Cor 15:52, into being ‘a shout’ is 2 verses in the Revelation of Jesus Christ:

Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

I realize this analogy is simplistic, but surely you have seen cartoons sometimes demonstrate ‘a voice, as of a trumpet talking’. Even this worldly illustration is NOT the same thing as the sound a trump makes.

For ‘mid-Acts-ers’ to take Revelation 1:10 and 4:1, where a voice is described ‘as it were of’ a trumpet .... and make them equivalent to 1 Thess 4:16 and 1 Cor 15:52, that do NOT say ‘as of’ a trump .... is wrong.

I wonder if they would accept their own interpretational method when applied to other verses?

Rev 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

Using their logic, his face actually WAS the sun; his feet were really pillars of fire. For another example:

Rev 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

If the trump will really be a shout instead .... then the star will not be a star, but a lamp falling from heaven. Their line of thinking is irrational.

This is David Dowell, saying, "Think about it!"
